AWS Cloud Practitioner(CLF-C02)

The AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner is an entry-level certification offered by Amazon Web Services (AWS) that validates a candidate's foundational knowledge of AWS cloud services and solutions. This certification is designed for individuals who have a basic understanding of the AWS platform and cloud computing concepts but may not have extensive technical experience.

Here is AWS official documentation: AWS Cloud Practitioner(CLF-C02)

Important: AWS Cloud Practitioner exam code: CLF-C01 is replaced by CLF-C02. Click here (video) to understand.

This certification is ideal for candidates who are from non-IT backgrounds. These candidates might be in the early stages of pursuing an AWS Cloud career or might work with people in AWS Cloud roles. It is suitable for a wide range of roles, including:

  • Business Decision Makers
  • IT Fresher
  • Non-IT person
  • Students and Educators
  • Sales and Marketing Teams
  • Anyone interested in AWS

As per AWS the target candidate has up to 6 months of exposure to AWS Cloud design, implementation, and/or operations, but to be honest I don't fully agree with this. Even if you don't have any IT background or any experience in AWS, you can still go for it. It is an entry level exam, not very complex and a great way to start AWS, in fact I would say it's a great start in understanding cloud technologies as a whole.
